Alhadji Baba is one of the greatest employers in the country. His various companies around the country provide thousands of job opportunities for the youths. In Ndawara alone, some 2500 workers are employed mainly in the Tea estate. The total number of workers in the CTE could sum up to about 6.000, if all the estates are considered. The tea estate at Ndawara is the largest amongst the five estates that make up CTE. The four others are Ndu, Ndjotissa, Tole and recently Santa. The Ndawara Tea Estate is the largest in Africa.
