Alhaji Baba Ahmad Danpullo donates 50 million for Humanitarian assistance

Since the beginning of government emergency Humanitarian plan, the total sum of 236.4 million FCFA have already been collected in the first 24 hours at the Yaoundé City Hall, of which about 118 million in cash, nearly 15 million in form checks and about 103 million FCFA in the form of pledges.

Among the Cameroonian personalities who have already contributed to this national humanitarian plan during the first day at Yaoundé City Hall on Thursday, June 21, are the businessman Al Hadji Baba Danpulo, leading with a contribution CFAF 50 million, Cavayé Yeguié Djibril (CFAF 4 million), Bello Bouba Maïgari (CFAF 1 million + pledge of CFAF 1.5 million), Youssouf née Adidja Alim (CFAF 2 million); Mounouna Foutsou (500 thousand Francs), Abba Sadou (2 million Fcfa), Zacharie Perevet (2 million Fcfa), Issa Tchiroma (2 million Fcfa), Boniface Fohoya (700 thousand Fcfa, Koulssoumi Al Adji 700 million Fcfa)

The Head of State, Paul Biya instructed the implementation of a solidarity plan for Anglophone refugees affected by the ongoing crisis, after announcing the humanitarian emergency plan of 12.7 billion CFA francs to be financed by the state budget. The call for national solidarity immediately yielded 240 millions under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister Head of Government,  Philemon Yang. Contributions of international partners are still awaited.
